Our mission is to create a meeting place for elite composers and performers in contemporary music from across the country, building a vibrant artistic community in Huntsville. In a short time, we have connected musicians from major cities such as New York, Miami, Ann Arbor, Kansas City, San Francisco, Dallas, Los Angeles, Boston, Atlanta, Memphis, Tuscaloosa, Nashville, Chattanooga, and Birmingham, and we are dedicated to expanding this network as we continue our mission

The stages represent varying event sizes. Stage I is an intimate, invite-only gathering for members to socialize, network, and gain exclusive access to the creative process.
Stage II events are medium-scale public ticketed events designed for anyone to enjoy with a drink in hand.
Stage III events are our grand vision, featuring fully immersive experiences that defy categorization. We aim for these events to attract visitors to Huntsville, eager to witness our groundbreaking productions.

There’s no dress code for our events. Our audiences tend to wear business casual, but jeans and sneakers are perfectly acceptable. We want you to feel comfortable and enjoy the music.

There are multiple ways to support RCNM through donations. You can become a member for the full RCNM experience, consider title sponsorship, or even donate to fund a commission. Additionally, you have the option to make a one-time contribution of any amount to help further our mission. Your generous support is greatly appreciated.

Yes. As an IRS-approved 501(c)(3) organization, all donations are tax-deductible.

As a non-profit organization focused on creating new music and bringing exceptional musicians from across the country, the majority of our budget is allocated to paying the musicians and covering their travel expenses.

DO-IT-ALL PERCUSSIONIST SEAN RITENAUER’S MULTI-GENRE FLUENCY HAS LED TO AN ALL-ENCOMPASSING PERFORMANCE CAREER. PARTICULAR HIGHLIGHTS INCLUDE ON BROADWAY (SOMETHING ROTTEN!, PIPPIN), TELEVISION AND FILM (THE MARVELOUS MS. MAISEL, MOONRISE KINGDOM, A DOG’S PURPOSE), ON TOUR WITH THE NEW YORK PHILHARMONIC, AND EVEN PLAYING CONGAS WITH ARETHA FRANKLIN. IN PERFORMANCE, RITENAUER HAS BEEN HAILED FOR “MESMERIZING DEXTERITY” IN A PERFORMANCE OF JENNIFER HIGDON’S PERCUSSION CONCERTO THAT EARNED “AN IMMEDIATE STANDING OVATION” (THE HUNTSVILLE TIMES). THE OHIO NATIVE WAS NAMED PRINCIPAL PERCUSSION OF THE HUNTSVILLE SYMPHONY (AL) IN 2016, AND IS THE PERCUSSION INSTRUCTOR AT HOFSTRA UNIVERSITY, WHERE HE DIRECTS THE HOFSTRA PERCUSSION ENSEMBLE. ALUMNI OF HIS PRIVATE STUDIO IN MANHATTAN HAVE BEEN ADMITTED TO THE COUNTRY’S TOP MUSIC PROGRAMS, INCLUDING JUILLIARD, EASTMAN, AND THE NEW ENGLAND CONSERVATORY.
DR. HOJOON KIM
CO-FOUNDER
HOJOON IS A MULTI-DISCIPLINARY CREATIVE DIRECTOR WORKING WITH BOTH SMALL LOCAL COMPANIES AND LARGE NATIONAL BRANDS.
HE BEGAN HIS CAREER AS A PHOTOGRAPHER AND QUICKLY EXPANDED HIS SKILLS TO TO BECOME A GENERALIST IN BRANDING, GRAPHIC DESIGN, WEB PROGRAMMING, FULL VIDEO PRODUCTION, AND BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT IN THE STARTUP SCENE IN LOS ANGELES.
AS A PIANIST, HE EARNED HIS DOCTORAL DEGREE FROM UCLA WITH HIS 2017 DISSERTATION IN MIXED MEDIA PRODUCTION.
HOJOON IS A BIG SPACE NERD AND LOVES DOGS AND THE NATIONAL PARKS. HE STILL PRACTICES PIANO.
